About Whisper Marine Whisper Marine is based in Gustavus at the entrance to Glacier Bay National Park, and is owned and operated by Douglas Ogilvy. Incorporated in 1996 in the State of Alaska, we offer guided ecotours with opportunities to see and photograph whales, sea otter, birds, and other wildlife. Specialized filming or photography trips can be organized. Stream fishing trips, and kayak and camper drop offs and pick ups are available.

Stream Fishing Fly fish or spin cast for steelhead, cutthroat trout, salmon, and dolly varden char, or come along for the hike and enjoy the wildlife and photography opportunities. Novice or experienced, we will give you a good day on the river. Equipment is available, and we are happy to give lessons or pointers if you want them. With thirty years in the wilderness of Southeast Alaska, we have first-hand knowledge of this beautiful area.
